Seriously never having this baby

I went in today to see the midwife.  She said I am STILL at 2 cm, cervix very soft, she tried to strip my membranes, but she said his head is still VERY high and therefore without the counter pressure, she doesn't feel the stripping was very effective.  She also said that while DS is head-down, he is in an "unfavorable position."  He is twsited sideways, so he needs to twist around before he can start making his way down.  I have an u/s scheduled for next Thursday, as well as another MW appt - we will come up with a plan then. 

Boo.

    my LO is turned sideways, head down though, still high, and im only 1 1/2 cm as of tuesday, and im over 41 weeks now, im REALLY starting to think its never going to happen!   GL to you though hopefully things kick in and LO turns and comes down soon for ya!

    That sucks.  Hopefully he twists around and makes his appearance before your u/s next Thursday... Good luck!

    I don't think that I will ever have this baby either. I am 5 days away from my due date and my cervix is still high and closed! No dilation, no effacement, nothing! My doctor can't even feel my LO's head!!!

    hi my love!!!! i cannot believe your due date is already here!! i have been thinking about you like crazy and i hope your little boy decides to make his appearance soon. are you still working or are you on leave already? much love to you and your family. i cant't wait to here the good news!! and see the pics of course ;) xoxoxo
