Baby Sugar High

So far I haven't noticed any ill effects from the GTT drink, but about 45 minutes after the drink, LO is going nuts!  As I'm sitting there, it feels like he's pushing off my ribs and diving into my cervix.  After leaving the lab, he's doing backflips on my other side.  Anyone else?  I can't imagine I metabolized the sugar fast enough for it to be affecting him already... maybe just an active day?

 Also, for those still wondering, the orange drink tastes like orange gatorade.  It's not as sweet or as orangey as I feared (nausea's making a comeback, and orange flavored stuff always bothered my acid reflux, so I was worried).

 I feel a sugar crash coming, but that's probably related to the frostee I got afterward (dumb, I know, but it looked so gooood!) Embarrassed

    I had my GTT today, too, and baby was going crazy 10 minutes after. The same thing happens if I get a drink at Starbucks, even decaf, so I figure the sugar is the main contributer.

    I had mine today too but my baby didnt get as hyper as i thought she would. I mean she was moving around alot and kicking but I figured she would be bouncing off the walls or something!

    I had the same experience today. It was quite funny to see my shirt bouncing all over the place.
