My doctors office called and told me my kidneys were in distress and they were taking the baby-- NOW! So...I had a massive freak out and then drove the hospital and had a baby.

OMG, are you 37 weeks already!!??!! Wow, how exciting! And Olivia is too cute!
I'm a SS, I woke up at 6:30 to pee and just felt wet. As I walked to the bathroom, I was slowly dripping fluid (small tear.) Labor never started, pit started at 2pm, Asher was born at 7:28pm. I delivered at exactly 39 weeks, and had been a 4 since 36ish weeks.
I lost my mucus plug around 7pm, and at about 9pm I started leaking amniotic fluid. I went in around 11:15pm to find out that baby had "accidentally" broke my water and wasn't ready to come out. I had 5 doses of cervix softener and when that didn't work, they tried pitocin. I got an epidural and 1 hour later, I passed out. Once they got me stabilized, the doc came in to tell me that I was going to have a c-section. LO was delivered 41 hours after my water broke. They almost had to use the vacuum since she had not dropped at all. She wasn't planning on making her debut that early and wasn't going to make it easy on the docs.
I clicked 'other' - I had been having BH / contractions for weeks, but suddenly had them every 6-8 minutes all day long. They weren't painful, just close together. Then at nighttime they spread out to about 12 min apart, and at 11:30pm my water broke! Then the contractions WERE painful and were about 2-3 minutes apart.
I had my daughter at 34 weeks 5 days. I prolly should have known looking back on it that I was in labor, but since it was early I didn't think anything of it and because I had been diagnosed with irritable uterus. On Christmas day, LO did not move hardly at all. (My first sign of labor with my first and obviously the first sign of labor with this one) Next day I had many many contractions that I thought were braxton hicks because I had been having them all along. I woke up at 2:30am after the day full of BH. These contractions HURT, but I still really thought nothing of it. I drank a bunch of water in hopes the contractions would stop. They didn't, they just came closer together...every 3 minutes for a minute! Then I realized it was time to go to the hospital. When I arrived and they checked me I was already 6 cm!!! 40 minutes late Abby was born!!
I went on a cleaning rampage that morning and afternoon. I had a good amount of extra energy so I did a few workout tapes. My mom said that I was nesting and that I would go into labor that night or early the next morning. I shrugged it off since I was 6 days away from edd. But,I called my doctor to see if I could move up my nst. The nurse told me I could go into the hospital since doc was doing rounds and have it done that day. So it was about 4:30pm DH had just gotten home from work. DH changed and I made him a snack and we left for the hospital. LO was moving around like crazy. I got sent home at 6:30 since I was only having minor contractions and was only 1cm. The doctor said that they would see me later maybe the next day or maybe in 2 weeks. We went to my parents house and had dinner. I was whining saying that I thought something was really happening and that I was really in labor. I almost started to cry. Then I start feeling a really strong contraction. DH got the stop watch and 50 seconds into my second strong contraction my water broke! It was 7:34pm. DH called the hospital and I was admitted by 8:45pm. DS was born at 9:11am the next day via c/s due to ucord being wrapped around his neck twice.

I started lightly bleeding on Saturday night before bed. Then I woke up to pee and I was having what I assumed were braxton hicks. It kind of felt like I had cramps and it was happening pretty consistantly so I timed them for 2 hours. They were anywhere from 2.5 minutes to 6 minutes apart. So I woke H and my mom ( who was staying with us from out of town) and told them I think we should go to the hospital bc I wasn't feeling so great.
After taking a shower and re-checking my hospital bags, we went to the hospital and it turns out I was 5cm dilated and I didn't most of my laboring at home! after about 10 hours I got an epidural and they broke my water and baby hadn't progressed after 17 hours ( 6 cm and she hadn't dropped) so we had a c-section. I didn't even get to the pushing part ( which is a-ok by me!)

I was 40w1day and decided to go on a "labor inducing" walk (3 miles). I got home, and cleaned the house top to bottom, organized the nursery, packed hospital bags etc... That night I went to bed and had several contractions. I woke up at 3am after having a dream that my water had broke. I went to the bathroom...nothing. Back to sleep, had some pretty major contractions for a few hours. Woke up, went to the bathroom, and had fluid all over my panties, ignored it. I had an OB appointment that day anyway, went in, he did a PH strip to see if the fluid was my water. While that was processing he stripped my membranes and GUSH my water broke. It turns out that I had a slow leak that had started that morning and him stripping my membranes ruptured the bag.
I did have a "feeling" that that was going to be the day, but I did not put the bags, car seat or anything else in the car, even though I REALLY thought I should have.

What turned out to be contractions woke me up around 4am. I thought it was a stomach bug as they were not sharp and I just felt I had to poo! Took three hours of every 4-5 minutes for me to realize that this was it! I'm a little slow that early in the morning apparently...

The day before my DD was born, I had my 39 week appt. Everything looked good, except for I was not dilated or effaced at all. My doc said the best thing to do to get things moving is have sex, and lots of it. I went about my day, and later that evening, I made supper and started stuff for dinner for the next day as well. I cleaned up the kitchen, and my DH joked that I must be getting close because he thought I was nesting. We went to bed and decided to give sex a try. We had not had sex since early on due to bed rest issues that got lifted at 35 weeks. Next thing we know, my mucus plug fell out and I was bleeding. We went to the hospital, and they checked me. I was a 5 and 75%!! No contractions, no twinges, nothing. When I got there though my blood pressure was way high, and they admitted me for monitoring. I didn't progress at all through the night, so they had to break my water and induce the next morning. But to go from zero to 5 in 12 hours with no signs of labor was a little odd to me.
Long story short...I didn't feel a thing until they started pitocin.
None of the above but I definitely felt the need to get stuff done that week. Ran overdue errands, tried to prep for my sub, handed out xmas gifts early, etc. And I was only 36 weeks. Guess my body was telling me something!
I woke up that morning and had a feeling that would be the day. Later on that evening, I started to feel funny, like I was about to get my period. A few hours later, I thought I was having contractions. Headed over to the hospital and was shocked to find out I was 7cm dilated. I wish my mom had listened to me that morning when I said I had a feeling that day was the day...she was visiting from 3 hours away and drove home, only to turn around and come right back that night!
I felt great all week...better than I'd felt in a long time. Went in for my 39 week appt in wed and she stripped my membranes. Crampy all evening and then contractions started around 2. I was in total contraction denial, but finally went to the hospital around 5. Had my baby at 1:05
Overdue, and having contractions for about 5 days, but all 7-10 mins apart (drove me INSANE) Tried to sleep but i couldnt relax. 4am, im walking around my living room singing (literally) when i had this HUGE urge to get on my hands and knees. I dropped to the ground and got on my hands and knees, felt like i had to go to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom but nothing so i gave myself a enema and that still didnt work. I called my mom, who told me i was fuccking insane for still being at my apartment and we needed to go to the hospital ASAP. She got here, we got there - i was 9cm along. Emerg c section because he was a chunky one and got stuck! Good luck! i was 41 weeks, 6 days by the way lol.

I felt like it sucked because I was induced due to high blood pressure and elevated liver enzymes.
ETA: Aaaand I didn't read the whole question. Ignore me. I've only had 1 cup of coffee.
