Link: What Not To Say to an Active Pregnant Woman

https://velomom.com/what-not-to-say-to-an-active-pregnant-woman/

This gave me a laugh this morning. I seem to hear about every bad-ass pregnancy achievement, and it rarely feels motivational. That said, I do notice that it's never the pregnant women themselves who brag and gloat... it's always second hand.

What are the craziest stories/achievements you've heard about active pregnant women?

  • That's funny :)

I taught Bodypump to 41 weeks and Bodycombat to 40 weeks, so I think I can pat myself on the back for that one :)

  • Hikerbeth,

Glad to hear you taught pump until 41weeks. I'm not an instructor but I love bodypump, attack, step and RPM. In pump did you continue to teach using your pre-preg weight or did you reduce your weight. I've kept my same weight for most of the tracks (except squats and clean and press).

  • My weight just sort of naturally reduced (I think you should be able to add your belly weight to your squat weight ;) ).

I also used an inclined bench for the lying down stuff and ended up having to do the clean & press with plates instead of a bar once my belly got too big.
