Babi Italia Eastside Crib

Anyone with this crib have any feedback or advice?

DH and I saw it at Babies R Us last weekend and it impressed us as being very sturdy. We would get the classic style in white (without the taller side that converts to a headboard later). The edges of the top molding seem far enough out that they wouldn't be a safety concern but I'd love to hear what others have to say.

We have the Babi Italia Pinehurst Classic Crib (which is almost identical, just the detailing on the sides is a bit different). I love the look of the crib - it is very sturdy/solid and doesn't scratch easily. One thing to note - the way our mattress support connects to the crib frame is that it "hangs" from the frame, instead of being pushed up. Beacuse of this, I couldn't figure out how to get a crib skirt to work with it (the crib skirt didn't cover the corners that great because of how it hangs and the crib skirt was too long).

I would like to know this as well. I am looking at this set as well. DH and I love the Cherry Espresso color.

We order this set as well...but just as a warning - three different people at BRU (at three different times) warned us against the dark cherry color. They said they've had more people come back complaining about how easily the scratchs show on this color. I thought it was just because the sample in the store was this color... I loved it too and it was my first choice. We ended up getting the white.

We have the Eastside Classic crib in cherry and love it. I had picked it out early in my pregnancy and when I took DH to see it he loved it so much he wanted the dresser and dresser/changing table, too! The whole set is fantastic. The crib is very sturdy and looks wonderful in the nursery. I remember it being fairly easy to put together...of course DH did most of the work!

One more thing....if you want almost the same identical crib, here is the Babi Italia Classic Pinehurst Crib at Walmart for $129! (We paid $329 at BRU for ours)
