L is working on school stuff tonight. I think the kids and I will have a quiet night at home.
Tomorrow morning I am taking my car in to the shop and L is taking the kids to their ice skating lessons. When I get home, L is going to go work on her school stuff for a few hours. After nap, the kids are going to go to Parents Night Out at the gym and we are getting together with friends we haven't seen in forever for an adults only dinner! Should be fun!
Sunday we should go to church, but history has proven that we are really bad about it when the kids go to parents night out since they go to bed so late (10:30ish.) I am sure we have errands to run and we still want to take L's truck to get appraised at CarMax.
The kids and I have Monday off so we may finish up any errands that we didn't get to and I am taking them ice skating (they've been wanting me to get on the ice with them.) YAY for 4 day work weeks!
We skipped half of the workout this morning, so we need to finish that up before dinner & probably watching some Torchwood. I might also convince Jen to play Scrabble or Phase 10 with me, but she's a pretty hard sell when it comes to games.
Tomorrow Jen is working, probably all day. They don't provide any heat in her office on Sundays, so at least now that it's cold she can't work both days. I've got that going for me. We'll probably lift weights and go running before she goes to the office. Taking the dogs to get haircuts. I need to research and book a few last things for New Zealand and do some cleaning.
Sunday the landlord's realtor is coming over to talk to us about putting the house on the market and answer questions about our rights if/when the house is sold. We have lived in the same place for 7+ years and I'm really hoping whoever buys it lets us stay until we move to Oregon this summer/fall; I don't want to move somewhere and then move again 4-5 months later. Then Sunday afternoon we're going to a dinner party w/ two other couples (people Jen works with). Sunday night we'll probably go see a movie, if anything good is coming out this weekend.
No plans so far for Monday, but we both have it off. Yay!
J is off work today. We will probably watch our DVR'd Greys Anatomy and do stuff around the house. I think J and A are going for a bike ride when A gets out of school. Tonight we are supposed to do something with SIL and our niece, maybe bowling.
Tomorrow we are taking A to the California Science Center and then going to visit J's Aunts while FIL does some plumbing repairs in their bathroom. I'm hoping to stop by my Dad's too since we will be so close.
J works on Sunday so A and I will likely do more gardening.
Monday is up in the air, J works and A has the day off school.
Tonight we are making sushi and drinking wine and sitting and talking at the dining room table. All night. I can't wait. Even with the snow storm and 2 days (yes, 2 DAYS!) of being snowed in together (most of which we had no heat or electricity), we haven't slowed down long enough to sit face-to-face and see what's going on. A lot of next to each other, snuggled half frozen under blankets, but little face-to-face.
Tomorrow we are going to Newport RI to watch a women's college basketball game and have lunch and reminisce. I proposed to K (after she had proposed to me a few months earlier) in my Newport on my 'surprise birthday get-a-way. It is one of my very favorite memories. To this day, I can't believe I had the ring on me. She pulled up to this gorgeous beach front hotel as my birthday surprise and I almost died.. she unknowingly planned the most picture perfect proposal for me!! I went out onto the roof while she changed into dinner clothes and while the sunset was setting over the Newport harbor, I proposed. I get goosebumps thinking about that weekend. I can't wait to go back!
Sunday - I should surge which means heading into Boston for an IUI and then the PATRIOTS!!!! K's sister and her girlfriend are coming over to watch the game.
Monday - We both have it off! YAY!! 2nd IUI sometime in the morning and home to relax.
Tonight: Chores at home and sleep. No kiddo to wake me at the crack this weekend and I intend to take full advantage of that!
Tomorrow: My girl gets off work in the morning. In the evening we are going to the first roller girls bout of the season with a group of friends, woot woot! Afterwards we are gathering at a friend's house for beer and snacks and fun.
Sunday: Hopefully sleeping in and lazing about with my girl. That evening we are going to see a local female singer at a great venue that has awesome food. My brother and SIL are joining us there. Should be a great night!
We actually have no plans except for football on Sunday afternoon. I am very happy about this. I seem to have picked up Ella's cold (thanks alot!) so I am a stuffy mess and need to hunker down and sleep this off.

My only plan is to try to catch up on life. I feel so behind in everything...personal paperwork, blog reading, emails, etc. I have gifts to buy and a house to clean. I feel like things still aren't back in order from the holidays.
So other than a one-year birthday party for Abba's son on Saturday I'll be at home trying to reclaim my time.

We have no plans- COULD this be ... which means we have to tidy up the house for the cleaning lady to clean on TUE
Saturday - prolly take the dog in the am so we can run around the park - He misses the WARM sunny weather. Then ry to figure out where the heck we should live and determine when we should move B4 twins or after babies? Any one wanna chime in on this.
Sunday - Lazy day maybe breakfast somewhere and try to plan more of the unforeseeable future?
tonight we're going to a hockey game while the monkey goes to hang out with his auntie and her gf.
I'm not sure about the rest of the weekend. we still have so much to catch up on, it feels like, after the hospital visit last week, so we'll probably do some cleaning and try to get caught up. I feel like every clothing item I own is dirty right now, so I'll definitely be doing laundry. oh, and some friends of ours asked about meeting for lunch/dinner at some point this weekend, too.
Fri: Ky and I stayed home almost all day. I cleaned the entire house (including washing ALL the laundry...even the throw rugs!). I was so proud of myself. Eventually I went to the grocery store. When we got home it was Ky's bedtime so I got her pjs on and warmed a bottle....and of course as per usual she refused to go down. Ann got home and came to find us in the nursery. She took over and of course little bugger went right to sleep for mom...
Sat: We both work all day. After work I am going to go secure snacks and alcohol for tonight before picking Ky up. By the time I get home and get food on Ann should be on her way home and her friends on their way over....Packers playoff game is tonight.
Sun: Ky's six month pictures! I cannot wait to see how they turn out!!!
