I think it's way too overdone. I have a niece named Ava Grace and she's one of a million Avas in her preschool and church. We like the name Ada Claire, but I also have the same "eclair" sentiments as the pp.

I have loved the name Ava for years....It was going to be LO's name until I heard Lydia. I love Ava...but I think it is a little too popular for me right now.

DD is Ava, I fell in love with the name 10 years ago when it was #200+ on the baby name list. I looked and looked and never found anything I liked more, so we went with it anyway! She is still the only one I know, if that helps.

I LOVE Ava, and only wish I had the option to use it one day... but alas, my name is Eva, and that would just be strange.
And even though it's really popular, it's not nearly as annoying-sounding as some of the other top 20.
I love it! Even after I found out how popular it is now
I'm considering Ava Leigh if I find out I'm having a girl
i am concidering Ava Grace.
dh doesnt really like it but i LOVE IT
My 6 year old niece is Ava Rose. Her mom also liked it loong before it became popular.
There are two other Avas in her 1st grade class so she's referred to as "Ava P." many times but her mom still loves the name & she's glad she used it.
