What does Baby feel like?

I hear alot of people say it feels like 'flutters' when Baby moves, what did it feel like for you the first time?

I sometimes think I feel baby, I get like twitches in different spots, but I'm not sure if I think it's Baby because I want it to be. Huh?

    I've been sick the last week so baby has felt like a baseball bumping into the sides of my belly...with my first it was definitely the flutter sensation, like wings were fluttering low inside my stomach

    I haven't felt baby yet, but my friend said it feels like when a goldfish is inside one of those plastic bags you bring them home in and it bumps into the side of the bag.

    For me, it has felt like when you get a muscle twitch in your leg or something, but below my belly button.

    I've felt little nudges I think.  Sometimes I feel a little tickle but that's it so far.  I can't wait to be "sure"- right now I think maybe it's the baby but I could be wrong or wishful thinking.  I did have a muscle spasm feeling a few times, too.

    I laughed when she told me that!  It was the first time I'd heard something other than "flutters."  She JUST had her baby less than a week ago (and holy cow, is he cute!  DH and I are his godparents!); I asked her again today when she first felt him move, and she described this again.  It sounds like it's the perfect description.  I can't wait!

    This is how it felt to me. I didn't think it felt like a butterfly fluttering.
