I am on the hunt for a rocker/glider fully upholstered. Where did you get yours? I am leaning towards one from LazyBoy- but its not exactly the color I want and If I'm gonna spend $$$ I would prefer to not settle.
We got our rocker/recliner at La-Z-Boy. Have you looked online? We were able to order it online in a variety of colors for less than they were selling it in the store. We love it - it is definitely the most comfortable chair in the house and we love that we don't have a separate ottomon taking up space in the room.
this one is faux leather, but we checked it out in person and am leaning towards buying it - it's one of the least ugly rocker/recliners I've seen and we'll be able to put it in the living room once we're done with it in the nursery:
I just got one at Buy Buy Baby last weekend. SO comfortable and actually cute. They actually have a decent selection that isn't on their website. I also had a 20% coupon which helped with the cost. I struggled for ages and was so glad I made the trip.
We bought ours at Slumberdump(land), we got a deal on it - it was a floor model and they were clearancing it out for $250 or something and that included the fabric warranty. I have no intentions of keeping the recliner (I hate recliners) once LO grows into his big boy room so we didn't want to spend much on it. I am glad we bought the recliner since it's comfortable and we use it for most of his feedings - so many of the gliders we tried out at BRU were horribly uncomfortable and didn't have much padding.

We haven't purchased it yet...but I have heard good things about the Dorel upholstered rocking chair on Walmart.com. They have a few different slip cover options and the chair is REALLY cheap.
We are planning on ordering it and checking it out at home. If we don't like it, Walmart said they will email us a return shipping label and set up a pick up with UPS/Fedex...etc, so that we do not have to borrow someone's car to get it back to the store.
The shipping was only like $20, so in the end I think it is a really good deal (as long as it is comfortable).
We got a lazboy. I much preferred them over anything else we tried out. I liked them better than Best brand personally because I like their footrest mechanism. I'm confused about the colors though... we were told you can get most any lazboy in any of the fabrics. If it's not a lazboy gallery store you are at I would go to one of those. I went to a regular furniture store and they were not able able to order everything. The lazboy store was cheaper also. We got the lazboy Melanie and it was $649 in the regular furniture store (in an ugly fabric) and online in a "stock" fabric. We got that same stock fabric (a nicer one that looked fine) in the store for $490. We could have gotten it in any fabric though, it was just more.
I have the Grand Swivel Comfort chair from Pottery Barn Kids and I absolutely love it. It is soooo comfy! It's kind of $$$, but it doesn't scream "nursery" so it will get many years of use.
We got the Monte Luca Glider and Ottoman. It's a big splurge but it is the most comfortable chair I have sat in while still being very stylish. There is a lumbar support pillow and the arms are supposed to be ergonomically positioned for breastfeeding. They are handmade though so there is a 6 week lag between ordering and delivery.
I also wanted to strongly advise people to get a chair you can try out in person or at least easily return. I am 5' and had the hardest time finding a chair that fit me comfortably. A lot of recliners/gliders are made with "comfortable" headrests. Well, with me being short, this poufy headrest hit the top of my head and basically had me sitting with my chin tucked into my chest if I sat all the way back! We had a recliner all picked out to get, but found a store that had it and it was HORRIBLE for me! My 5'3" mom didn't have the same problem with most, but even did with some. So just a thought... it seems like they go out of their way to make some of them so comfy that it can be a disadvantage especially for us shorter people!
I purchased the Newco Jayden from BRU. I am totally in love with it. Its actually the only chair in my house right now that makes my back stop aching. I got it on Black Friday for 50% off.

We ordered the Little Castle Mod Recliner / Glider but it hasn't arrived yet. I tried another Little Castle style at a store so hopefully this one will be just as comfy. Most of the gliders I found weren't modern enough for my taste and I tried one at Giggle that was very modern but really uncomfortable.
