Thursday Shredding Check In

Goodbye Anita, Hello Natalie!!!  Weel, it's Day 4 of Level 1 and I was finally able to keep up with Natalie (the more advanced model) on the majority of exercises.  Yahoo!!!  That little Anita with the rock abs was making me mad.  I cannot believe I am saying this after only 4 days but I feel stronger.  I am considering bumping up my hand weights for Days 6-10.  Don't get me wrong, my calves are still killing me but a good sore...a sore that says, "Go out and buy some red high heels!"

  • It's day 8 level 1 for me. I think I am almost ready to move up to level 2, but I'm still having issues with the push-ups and arm exercises (I have a weak upper body I guess). Today was the first day I made it all the way through push-ups but man was I hurting!! I think I'll stick to 10 days for each level. On a good note I'm feeling healthier and I lost 2.2 lbs so far!! Yay for progress!
    SAHM to the sweetest little girl and boy... I love my job!

  • Woohoo!  Feeling great - Day 2 level 1 for me, thinking about upping the weight on a couple of sets tomorrow! Is it just me, or is it amazing how much strength you lose thru pregnancy? haha

  • Day 3 for me. These side lunges/arm raises are still kicking my ass. Jillian Michaels keeps telling me to make sure I'm bringing those weights up to my eye line, and I keep finding my self lowering my eye line down to those weights! Its getting better though!
  • I'm on Day 4 and after a brief flirtation with Level 2 yesterday, I scurried my (sore) butt back to Level 1 today!  I can make it through the push-ups okay, but I end up doing the girly version about halfway through.  Those side lunges with anterior raises are still hard for me, but I can feel myself getting better at it!  Someone said Level 3 is actually easier than Level 2, so I'm curious about at least watching Level 3 to see if that's the case...L1 is still a challenge for me, but it's not excruciating or anything, and some of the exercises on L2 just required too much balance/coordination for me yet.

  • Day 3, level one for me.

    I was pretty sore today, but I pushed through it and got it done. Push ups are getting slightly easier (still doing modified version), but like a pp said, the side lunges with arm lifts are killing me! My weak little 10 year old girl arms can't do it! I got through one set, but by the second set i had to drop my weights. Hopefully by day 10 I'll be able to do them all.

    It's amazing how much stronger I feel already!

  • Today I wanted to die- day 11 for me. I switched to level 2 and I'm just not coordinated enough to do some of these moves! Like the pendulum thingy... I keep getting messed up when I try to do it.

    And those walking pushups! Please shoot me! I really don't know if I can do this :(
