Have you thought about what your getting your LO for their birthday yet? DH and I have been trying to think.. but cant really think of anything. He got a lot for hanukkah.. what are u doing?
Nothing. His b-day is in a week and a half. He's having a big b-day party where he's going to get more than he needs. I have wish lists on amazon & toys r us so hopefully he's going to get stuff he seems into right now.
Last year he got way too much and I didn't even give him all of it. I put some in the attic and forgot about it.
We signed DD up for Little Gym classes today so that is a huge part of her present. She got a ton of toys and clothes for Christmas so we couldn't think of anything else to get her. We might get her a little motorized car or 4 wheeler to ride outside when the weather gets nice but I am not sure.
We also are going to get her a potty chair. Not much of a present but she needs it and it will give her something else to unwrap. LOL
I think we'll get her an easel and some markers and paints.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
- Kurt Vonnegut
He got everything under the sun for Christmas so we're going to go lite on his b-day. Maybe a golf set and some books. We've decided to do a little family trip to the zoo or aquarium or something along those lines instead of a b-day party (we don't have family in the area anyway) so he won't be getting a million gifts from guests.
DH and I are getting her mega blocks and the fisher price little people zoo. She is also getting a new shopping cart and doll stroller because she is too tall for the ones she has now, but she still loves to play with them.
Maybe a tunnel/bridge for his train set, and maybe a new train, as apparently James, not Thomas was his favorite. We're going to have a few friends and family over, and tell them no gifts. He got a TON of stuff for christmas, and really needs nothing, not even books right now. He will have a great time opening those couple of things and singing happy birthday over and over again with cupcakes. I am sure we'll all have fun. It's tricky having birthdays this close to christmas. I am sure next year we'll do more stuff, as he'll get it a bit more, but now, we're going to keep it simple.

We don't have the room for a full play kitchen, so we're getting the boys the little tykes grill:
DS got this for Christmas. He loves it! It only comes with what's shown (1 hot dog, 1 hamburger, 1 ketchup) so some additional food would be a good "side" gift, fwiw.

Yeah, we were thinking possibly the same thing.
He's getting a new Radio Flyer tricycle from DH & I. My MIL is going to get him a water table, and my parents are getting him a sand box.
We're focusing on summer time things, if that helps at all.

I was thinking a wagon, but maybe a tricycle would be more appropriate.
Right now she likes chairs, so I am also thinking of a picnic table or something. She loves sitting in chairs.
We're getting him trains, train track, train table.
From others he is getting a wagon, trike, toddler camera, toddler sized broom/dustpan & shovel (he loves to clean!), soccer ball & goalie net.
Christmas and their birthday were 12 days apart; between the two of them, they got:
* A train table
* A toy shopping cart
* Food for their play kitchen
* A toddler soccer set
* A tub of little safari animals from TRU (Alex LOVES these)
* Play Doh
* Lots of new coloring books, stickers and crayons
* Tonka trucks
* Duplos trucks
* Toddler chairs from Ikea
* Personalized fleece Cars blankets
* New PJs

A water table. His birthday is 6/4.
DS got a kitchen for Xmas and loved it, if your LO doesn't have one, that might be a good option. It seems like every LO loves his/her kitchen!
