My employers brother and sister in-law had their baby yesterday on the side of a highway. They went to the hospital early morning yesterday, but they told them it was a false alarm and sent them home. Less than an hour later they were in the car on their way back to the hospital and she had the healthy baby boy in the car. I guess it's on the front page of one of the local newspapers. The newspaper even put a link to the 911 call that was recorded so of course I listened to it. that poor man...he sounded scared to dealth, but hey, wouldn't anyone!
TTC since 10.07~Diagnosed with PCOS 08.08~4 rounds of clomid=BFN~Took a break from meds... Surprise BFP 03.29.09~ Natural m/c 04.06.09~50mg clomid & progesterone 06.09=BFN

    Wow, it's a good thing that baby is okay.  If there had been a problem, that hospital would be in big trouble!

    My sister was born on the side of the road.  This was in 1983, so no cell phones.  They hadn't been to the hospital at all.  Mom just woke up in labor and by the time they got out of the house and on the road and about halfway to the hospital she reached down and felt the head coming out.  So they pulled over and dad caught her as she came out.  Then they wrapped her up and just drove the rest of the way to the hospital.
