More From 1st Grade...
Two boys and two girls are enjoying some free time in the classroom following a field trip. Boy #1 has a big crush on Girl #1.
Boy 1 is talking about 'privates' with the girls. The conversation was actually a harmless one, really. Nothing too naughty or innappropriate. But I was listening carefully to make sure it stayed that way. It started to get to be too much so I stepped in, gave Boy1 my teacher side-eye and a smile and said, "I think this conversation might be over."
Boy 1 smiles (he's a nice kid), says ok, and then as I left he continues the same line of conversation but changes the body parts to "hot dogs" and "wieners". So I walk on over and give the side eye and say with a smile, "Boy1, I am quite aware that this is the same coversation. So let's change it."
And as I walk away I notice Boy1 put his hands on his hips and say, "Well, I DO have a wiener. And it's AWESOME."
Again, true story.

Haha, I love teacher stories!
I once had a 1st grade boy ask a 1st grade girl to have SEX with him, I freaked (my first year teaching). I asked him what he thought sex was, and he said touching lips (kissing) - I was SO relieved! Though I did tell him there was to be no kissing either!

LOL!!!! That is too funny.
I teach 1st grade CCD (this is Catholic Sunday school for those that don't know). I was teaching the kids about John the Baptist and when we were doing the review at the end, I asked who Jesus' cousin was and one squirrely boy raised his hand and said "John the bad-est."
