Motto - Communication is key. You can't expect people to know how you feel or what you're thinking, if you're not willing to put it into words for them.
Quote - my current fave is from The Valley of Vision, which is a collection of Puritan poems and prayers. This little phrase has been helpful in the TTC process for me.
"Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to
hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart,
that's true strength."

I have this quote on a magnet on my fridge
I also have another good magnet there- "If you think you're too small to be effective, you've never been in bed with a mosquito."
I don't necessarily have a specific one I live by, but I've been giggling at a Tori Amos lyric that pops into my head sometimes during my TTC journey, and it's a quite fitting motto at this point in my life: "Give me peace, love and a hard ***"

And even when it crosses mine,
Teach me to be pleased with it.
Bubs I totally agree with your communtion is key. More marriages would work out if they would actually talk about there feeling and talk about the true issues. At least thats what happen with my first marriage... Was not comfortable telling him my true feelings that we werent meant to be together.

I painted this one as a border around my kitchen and den: "To laugh often and love much... to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children... to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends... to appreciate beauty... to find the best in others... to give of one's self... to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition... to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation... to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived... this is to have succeeded." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
