Newbie & Searching for a Dr/NP

I've been given the exciting news of a BFP on Tuesday! And it looks like I'm about 5 weeks along now. I can't stress to you the amount of questions I have, but I'm so excited. We are so excited. We've been trying for about 5-6 months now. Having just recently moved to Arizona (Tempe) last March, I had been in the process of setting up Dr.'s. One I hadn't got to yet: OB/GYN. Any recommendations, suggestions, advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm also up for Nurse Practioners/mid-wives/etc. Any info would be great! Tell me about your experience and how you chose. I have a list from my insurance but they are just names and I don't get reviews. I'd LOVE your opinions! Thanks!

    I go to Boojum Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chandler. I saw the NP there before I got pregnant and now, I am seeing Ramona the midwife. I have had friends use the OB-GYN Dr. Kells and they say he's excellent too. It's an awesome practice with really helpful staff if you don't mind the drive.

    Awesome, you are an answer to my prayers! I feel so guilty not having a Dr yet and kinda lost about what to do, being my first pregnancy. So I'm trying to read AS much as possible. Thanks so much!

    i have friends that see kells also. heard good things about him, but have heard the office staff totally sucks.

    i don't live on your side of town but many of my friends recommend valley women for women.

    Dr. Diane Hlavecek in Scottsdale is fantastic!! She takes the time to listen to EVERYTHING!!! Her group is made up of 5 docs who all went to school together so they are very close!!
