According to this our babies signs may be different, ours too. I was excited about my Gemini baby darnit!

I don't think your sign would change from year to year. you are what you are based on when you were born. there is absolutely no denying I am a gemini. According to that I am a Taurus. Hardly. LOL
I had started a study when my last daughter was born on zodiac signs. I had wondered if you have the traits based on when you were born or concieved. Example. My daughter was due to be Leo but was born a Cancer. Will she carry the traits of a Cancer or Leo? It is interesting article though.
April 20th. I've always been cusp but claimed Taurus. Now it says I am down right Aries.

I'm apparently still a Virgo, but this makes my husband a Leo, which actually DOES fit him better.
The reason for the change is because Zodiac signs are based on the constellations visible during that time. Stars have shifted since they were originally made up, so there are times when the constellation isn't visible during the traditional timeframe.
When following the line of thought that plays into Zodiac traits, if the constellation that's supposed to influence your traits isn't visible, it makes sense that you wouldn't inherit those traits.

Hmm. My husband and I are staying the same, but I'm now solidly a Taurus and not cusp.

I saw this on thehuffingtonpost.com today! I say 'eff it! I'm a Scorpio... and always will be! This baby will be a Gemini... I'm bucking this, all the way. I think it's BS!

Well before the signs changed on April 20 at noon so it depends on time of birth. I'm born at 6 in the morning so I?m still and allways have been an Aries
But on this particular day it's allways either Aries or Taurus depending on where you look or read.
I've allways considered myself half and half haha
It seems as the changes of dates depends on the new addition of the sign Ophiuchus Nov 20 - Dec 17
He has allways been there but have not allways been included.
I think it's a bit strange to have 13 signs when the year is clearly built up in 12 parts but well I'm really happy that my baby will be either Taurus or Gemini instead of Cancer, the sign of my boyfriend, and our signs don't match 100% He's much to whiney haha. But he is still 100% Cancer, unfortunatley!
Guess it doesn't really matter what sign the baby is, he or she will be what it was meant for him or her to be anyway
