I am a little over 37 weeks, and it's a little surreal that I am in the "end" of my pregnancy!
I am getting very excited about it, and every time I feel a contraction or anything, I get really stoked thinking it may be time. I am ready, to be honest. I know she is more than welcome to hang out a while longer, but I have started telling her she can come whenever she is ready now.
It's a very weird thought that if I was having a RCS, I would know when it was, and would be planning for that. I still haven't felt any pressure at all to stray from my VBAC plan. My OB is awesome, and I hope she keeps it up!
Baby is head down and in the "perfect" position. My chiro checks her position every week, and it's reassuring to know.
How far along are you, and how are you feeling?
Re: Who is super close?
I am! 38w4d.
Physcially, I'm feeling fine. Emotionally, I'm worried that this baby isn't going to come on his or her own, and I'm not sure if I'll have any other options other than an RCS. Any progress I was having has seemed to slow down. Hopefully the BH and infrequent contractions will pick up again, and I'll see some sort of progress here soon!
Well, I'm not quite that close yet - 35+ weeks, but after Monday's BH contraction marathon and some of the strongest contractions I have ever had (most likely BH, but still), I feel like I'm close! I know I could have a solid 6 weeks to go, but I confess, I hope this LO decides to vacate a bit sooner than his/her brother was evicted.
Feeling pretty good, but feeling heavy. Still having fair amount of BH contractions, but at least not enough to send me home and to bed!
