Speaking of toy storage

What do you put your tub toys in?  My bathroom is rather small.  The walls are tiled with that old-fashioned slick tile but the bathtub was replaced before we moved in and has a slightly textured fiberglass surround with textured glass shower doors. There is also a bar on the inside of the shower to move the doors back and forth.  We are getting overrun by toys and I need a place to put them before I lose my mind.

  • Funny, I was about to post something along these lines.  I'm thinking one of those net bag things, but the reviews on BRU all stink.

  • It is the same on amazon.com.  The only one that had half-way decent reviews was $20.  That is a bit much to hold a bunch of wet plastic toys.

  • We don't have too many so just on the ledge. I also have some toys that hang in a net off the shower caddy.

  • I have the frog. It is great but expensive for what it does.

We have a net to hold all of the toys, but there are too many so it doesn't stick.  So DH put up a hook in the bottom of the cabinet above the toilet.  The net hangs there with all of the toys in it.  It's off to the side so adults don't hit their heads.  Our only bathroom is tiny, so it's the best I could come up with, other than storing them in a different room.

Just wait, it gets worse.  We've just received a bunch of Thomas the Train bathtoys for XMAS, and I put away a bunch of toys.  I will be having the best garage sale some day....

  • We have two; the skip hop blue fabric toy organizer and the boon frog pod.  We love the boon frog pod.  The detachable scoop is wonderful because we can get the toys in and out of the tub easily and the fact that it's hard plastic helps the toys dry.  The skip hop bag mildews and the toys never seem to dry.

  • The toys are sitting on the bathmat outside of the tub, resting on the edges of the tub and sitting on the counter by the sink. Yeah, I think we need some organization there.
