Ball Pits

I would love to have one at Asher's party, but I looked into the rental and I think I could probably make one for the same price and then get to keep it for future things. I'm thinking if I get a large kid's pool and the balls it could work. I'm just unsure of where I would buy the balls and how many I would need. Thoughts?

You can get the balls at TRU, but I've also seen them at Walmart and Target. That would def be a cheap and easy way to make a ball pit.

I have NO idea how many you'd need, I'm really bad at that. I'd try oriental trading company, I'm almost positive I've seen them on there.

To fill up the blow up ball pits that they sell at TRU/Walmart/Target and such they suggest 200 balls.

So maybe you can get an idea off of that.

I bought a sack of balls from Wal-Mart this summer. I believe it was ~$10 for 100. If size helps at all, the 100 balls fills up a medium laundry basket. (thats what DS plays in)

We bought a ball pit similar to this

for DD for christmas and it came with 20 balls which wasn't NEARLY enough to fill it up. so I'd assume with a kiddie pool you'd need 100-200 balls or so depending on the size of your kiddie pool.
