c/s moms when did you set ur date?

This will be my first planned c/s (ds1 was not planed just had to have one after no progress.) When exactly did you and your OB sit down and decide a date when to have LO. I briefly asked at 31 weeks he said that he delivers at 39 weeks but didnt go on and say much more than that. Do i need to bring it up again or will he tell me later appointment when delivery will be?

I brought it up at 19w and that's when we scheduled it for 38w1d. My date has a special meaning and my dr wanted to make sure I got it. Plus I can't go much past 38w

After I had my big ultrasound at 19 weeks, my OB mentioned that someone would be calling me from the office to schedule my c/s. Sure enough, later that day after my appt, I received a call that everything was scheduled and they gave me the date. Then my OB followed up with me at my next appt with him to make sure it was scheduled.

At your next appt, I would just mentioned that a date for your c/s hasn't been set and what do you need to do to get it taken care of. Good luck!

We set the date at 36.5 weeks. At my practice, the OBs are not allowed to schedule their surgeries at the hospital where I will deliver more than 1 month in advance. I didn't have to bring it up, my OB did.

Initially they told me we'd schedule it at the 36 week appointment, but at 29 weeks, when we met with the OB who we wanted to perform the c/s, she just went ahead and we scheduled it at that appointment. I would ask again at your next appointment for sure.

I was around 25 weeks along. The office manager called me and told me it was scheduled for 39w3d. I'd ask again at your next appointment.

My dr brought it up at my 28 week appointment. She told me to start thinking about what day I'd like to schedule it for and we'd set it at the next appointment.

Mine was scheduled at the 35 week appointment. Though baby is breeched I kind of think the reason she went ahead and scheduled it was due to the fact that she will be out of town the week of my actual due date. This allows for us to make sure and have our fantastic doctor deliver our baby.

THIS. We are setting it at my next appt next week and it will be for 38 or 39 weeks, probably 39, depending on her Spring Break schedule... Confused

We talked about the date at about 30 weeks or so, but finalized the date at my last appointment which was at 35 weeks. It is set for 38 weeks 5 days.

I think they scheduled mine w/ me while I was around 32ish weeks. With my last baby they had set surgery days on Weds so it was just the Weds before my due date. This time it's a bigger practice so it was just the closest weekday to the week before my due date.

The only reason I could be having a c/s is the baby being breech. My Dr said he would do it at 41 or 42 weeks - completely up to me. I was surprised he didn't want to do it earlier since most do, but I'm on the same page with him - I'd like to go into labor naturally if possible. He just spoke with me yesterday about scheduling a day.
