I wish someone had told me that it actually kinda sucks! (morning sickness, difficultly doing common tasks like bending over, fatigue, frequent peeing, peeing when you cough/sneeze......the list goes on).
I wish someone told me that morning sickness doesn't always end right at 13 weeks and that you're going to be sore and it will vary from day to day . . .
the 2nd one is different and for most people I talk with, way more uncomfortable
I was really skeeved out at the change in my nipples....ew
The 2nd does seem to be waaaay more uncomfortable than the first! No one told me that so I thought it would be easier, but nope much more achey and unpleasant.

I wish someone would have told me that when you are pregnant and have a cold and have to sneeze.....you might actually pee yourself.
One word for that - KAEGELS!!
Another thing I wish someone had told me about, was discharge! Hello, gross! This time around it has started earlier and the volume is also more than it used to be. I practically live with pantiliners now.
Oh yeah, and how difficult recovery is AFTER delivery. No one ever really prepares you for that.
I wish someone would've told me that your cooch will hurt
THIS! OMG.......and that my face would break out like I was in high school and would have a mind of it's own....pregnancy glow my ass, I'm just greasy as hell.

I wish someone would have warned me about how big the giant maxi pads are after birth! I wasn't prepared for them being that big.
Also the butt and crotch pain while pregnant.
This is my first so I don't know about these. Are there special ones you have to buy or that the dr provides? If you are breast feeding do you still have that 6 weeks of bleeding?
i'm going with the post-delivery stuff. i felt like i was pretty well prepared for my first pregnancy, but not so prepared for how much things sucked physically after the baby was born. i was in pain for days, bled for 6 weeks (with non-stop breastfeeding), felt flabby and disgusting, etc.
but so far, my second pregnancy has been easier than my first! i can only hope that my second recovery is also an improvement.

How uncomfortable you will be towards the end. Your clothes don't fit. I mean nothing fits. You just feel so huge and all you want to do is lay around.
That some women hate being pregnant (I am one of those) Don't get me wrong I love my DD and I know I will love this LO but I hate being pregnant with a passion.

Doctor gives them to you. You will have one right after you deliver. At least I did.
I wish someone had told me (with my first pg) that it's okay to hate being pregnant. For me it's a means to an end and I really don't enjoy it. Yes, I enjoy feeling kid wiggles, but I'd much rather have them out so I can hold them and nurse them.
I wish someone had told me that your second pregnancy hurts more, too.

Ha ha, I agree. These hormones are crazy!
I wish someone had told me smells and textures would be a huge thing.
Also that DTD with your DH on top would actually HURT your little bump.
this!!

How impossible it is to get comfortable at night. Then, as soon as you do, you have to get up to pee.
The sneeze-pee. Why is that not in my WTEWYE book?
How brushing your teeth makes you want to vomit. And how itchy this bump is getting! If I forget to lotion up I am miserable all day.

- The heartburn. Oh, the heartburn. It has been my constant nemesis.
- The constipation. Even with prunes, fiber cereals, and Metamucil.
- The constant worry from day one.
- How absolutely fantastic it is to feel LO rolling and kicking around in there.
This! Its a new symptom from the last few days. I'm hoping it will go away!

That your butt hurts, other areas hurt and you can never poop!!!

That my fingernails would become their own entities.
I HATEHATEHATE long fingernails, and I'm growing an average of 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch per week. I trimmed on Sunday, and had to do them again today.
