  • Nope, when he wakes up is when he wakes up.

  • Yes... I find it's the only way to get enough feedings in since they sleep so long at night. (11 hrs)  Mine have gotten used to the schedule though and usually are up to eat by now.

  • Nope. She put herself into the EAS routine, I just follow it. If she sleeps for 30 minutes or 2 hours, I leave her be.

  • I use ~30 minute rule.  I'll let her sleep up to 30 min past a "meal" before I wake her up.  But I've only had to ever wake her once or twice, she knows the routine & wakes to eat easily.

  • My problem is getting him DOWN for the nap. Then after 45 minutes of working on it, he falls asleep 15 minutes before his next feeding... so I have to let him sleep or he'll never get rest.

  • thank you for your answers.  he woke up at 12:27 when he was supposed to eat at 12:30 so this morning went well (first day).

  • Yes- I will wake up DS if he's going to nap longer than 2 hours at one time. I go by Baby Whisper that says to not let your baby sleep longer than 2 hours at one time or else they may be robbing nighttime sleep!! My DS sleeps about 8-9 hours at night so it works for us.
