Did you POAS before you got your beta level drawn??

 

I am almost afraid to!  This is my first medicated cycle. What have you all done in the past?

    The handful of times I've made it to beta, yes I tested before.

    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    I'll usually POAS the day before just to brace myself for the call that I'm not pregnant.

    I keep saying I'm not going to do it anymore after my first IUI cycle (I had gotten a +HPT but -b/w) but I have no willpower.

    My RE doesn't do betas unless you have a positive HPT first. I have the lab slip for my beta, and once I get a positive HPT I am supposed to get it drawn. I'm not supposed to POAS until 17 dpo, but I don't think I'll make it that long. AF usually shows by 14 dpo, so I'll probably check then.

    My Dr only does betas if you get a positive on the pee stick, so I always POAS....BUT I make my DH read the result as I just can't look.

    Thanks ladies!  I go in for bloodwork at 14DPO.  I don't know if I will be able to hold off POAS, but I will let you know either way Stick out tongue

    No, I haven't ever POAS before beta. DH won't let me!!

    However, if ever we have a positive beta, I'm going to POEveryS in the house!!! :)

    My RE doesn't do a Beta unless you are late.  We are instructed to call our nurse on the day we are late or AF shows for further instructions.

    I wouldn't make it to Beta anyway.  I start POAS around 9dpIUI!!  HEHE
