yeast infection? Apparently we did.
I took Delaney to the pedi last Tuesday because of her cold and how often she gets ear infections. She was fine last week, but our pedi said to bring her back in if she still has the cold after ten days. She was still coughing and sneezing, so I made an appointment yesterday. When I picked her up from Miss Bev's, she wanted me to ask about her diaper rash as well. She's had a diaper rash for about a week that looked different than what she's had in the past. Bev was concerned it could be a yeast infection.
So, infection in the right ear and she's got the yeastie beastie. Not a first I want to put on her baby calendar. I'm so glad Miss Bev said something, because I just figured it was a diaper rash...I'd never seen a yeast infection like that, externally. My poor little monkey...
Re: Did someone order an ear infection, with a side of....
Poor Baby! Hope her ears and bottom feel better soon.
FWIW, My oldest battled ear infections from 2 mths to 4 years. She had tubes at 18 mths but they fell out within a couple of months. I remember all the yeast infections from the antibiotics. I can say that she only had 3 or 4 sick days from the time she started school until Graduation. Now, Miss T hasn't had an ear infection but has had strep 5 times. It's not fun living through them developing their immune systems.
I'm glad, heading into the weekend especially, that Laney Bug is well on her way to feeling better. Poor lil love!
Hats off to Miss Bev. Despite those pushy political views, she is a darn good caregiver!
