Small babies...

Any other small babies out there? DD got measured at her 6 month appt on Tuesday (really 6.5 months) and she was 14lbs 12.5oz and 26" long. She's a little under the 25th percentile for weight and the 60th for height. Everyone that sees her comments on how thin she is. She eats fine and is growing, just slowly. I feel like people think I'm not feeding her enough or something. Anyone else have thin babies??

DD was 13 lbs, 11 oz at 6 months, and 14 lbs 15.5 oz at 7 months. I like 'em small (and it makes the clothes last longer!)

Yup us too. At our 4 month she was 5th % for weight and 85th % for height so she's super long & skinny. She eats great & is a really happy baby & pedi isn't concerned b/c she's growing along "her" curve. I'm anxious to see how she's doing next week at her 6 month though. But I don't worry about the comments b/c I'm 5'7" and 110lbs so I just say she's her momma's girl.

My DS is in the 15th percentile for weight, but 90th for height. He's definitely lacking the rolls/chub most babies have...but he's healthy and I'm totally OK with it.

She grows out of the clothes so fast b/c of her height. The waist is so baggy but I don't want her ankles showing lol.

DD is a peanut as well. She was 13 lb 11oz two weeks ago (her 6mo is today and I'm curious about her length, etc.)

I do get a lot of 'was she a preemie?' comments but her pedi said she is growing at a good rate-she just has her own curve

Khari! She was 14 pounds 1oz at her 6 month... But Taiden was the same way! With him being my first we were super worried he was on iron (he IS anemic) and pediasure everyday.. Nothing could fatten him up! Dr says it's just how they are.. Tall and skinny.
