I am Back from Atlanta

I sent the weekend in Atlanta for the National Farm Bureau Convention.  It was great until Sunday night when Atlanta got a ice/snow storm.  I have never been so scared in my life that I was on my drive back to WV on Tuesday.  It took over 15 hours for a 9 hour drive.

This morning I had my follow-up appointment with the RE.  I have two mature follicles one on each side.  The doctor had me do the ovidrel shot this morning and we go back in tomorrow morning for the IUI.  Hopefully this one will have greater success.

We also met with the IVF coordinator...wow this is going to cost us a ton and our office does not offer any type of financing.  If this IUI is not successful I will be doing an injectable IUI and then more than likely moving on to IVF.

    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    I'm glad you made it back safely.  DH flew out of Baltimore into KC, with a short layover in Atlanta.  I am so glad he got out in the morning.  I hope this IUI works for you and you don't have to worry about IVF.
