I thought something was happening...

On my way home from work while driving, my lower back started hurting badly. Intense lower back pain. I couldn't really tell if it was accompanied by contractions though. A couple times I felt pressure in my lower stomach. the back pain was consistent for about 30-40 minutes and every few minutes during that time, the pain would become even more intense. it felt like it came in waves. Do you think these were contractions?  Anyways, I was really hoping that they were and might be the beginning of labor coming on. Oh, how I wish!

    I wish I could tell you absolutely!  But I've had this same thing for a couple of weeks now!!  I think it is a sign that baby is moving down into the pelvis though so that's a good thing!
