sleeping a lot after shots?

The kiddo got hers last yesterday. She slept for 6.5 hours and then again for almost 5.  She normally does 4 or 5 hour stretches at night. She was up for quite a while with me this morning and has now been conked out again for the past 5 hours.  I'm tempted to wake her to feed her but then again she's not cranky  right now;-)

    Yes!  It seems to wear them out physically and emotionally, and they have to recharge themselves.

    Yep - I would always get their shots late in the day b/c after I got him home, DS was usually out for the night!  Enjoy it while it lasts!  ;-)

    And even if you spread them out, it does the same thing.  We have a set of shots that is harder on Kolby than the others (we just gave them as well).  It takes him about 4 days to go back to his *normal* schedule.
