Anyone have experience of taking Kolonpin while bf

I just wrote a post about it on 0-3 https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/47611966/ShowThread.aspx#47611966 Basically, my doctor put me on 3mg of kolonpin a day. From what I've read online, Klonopin is the ONLY safe BENZO to take while bf. My dr asked me to stop bf though. I want to get better but I don't want to stop bf. Has anyone taken this while bf?

    I took that for a short time but only AFTER stopping BF.  My doctor would not prescribe it to a patient who was BF.

    If you want to still BF, ask for something else.

    I took Clonazepam(which is almost the same or may be actaully)My general practitioner told me to stop BF while on it so I did. Then I went to my pedi and he asked why I stopped. He said the effects of the medicine vs BF were minimal and even double checked it (we go to a practice with like 8 docs). Just to be sure I called this mother and meds hotline in canada (it did charge long distance) and all they do is research this stuff. they said it WAS safe and just to make sure I wait 4 hours if I could before feeding. So to pump as much as possible and also feed her right before I took the pill. Heres the number to call 416-813-6780. Good luck
