OK to take tylenol while cycling for IVF?

I have the WORST Lupron headache right now. Is it ok to take Tylenol?

Sorry if this sounds like a newbie ?

    My nurse told me tylenol was fine throughout my IVF cycle. She also said I could take ibuprofen until I started stims - and my RE is super strict!

    I'm not to IVF yet, but my RE told me to only take Tylenol throughout my cycles.

    TTC since 4/09.
    Diagnosed PCOS. Diagnosed Hypothryoid 11/09.
    SHG & SA normal. PCOS Research study started 5/10.
    Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
    Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
    11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
    5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.

    My RE allows Tylenol during IVF cycles.  I hope it helps!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    Tylenol is the only thing I've been allowed to take since starting BCPs.

    Hey hon!  It looks like everyone already answered.  I hope you feel better soon.  If the tylenol isn't helping try a cold compress on your forehead.  It helps me a bit.

    The tylenol really helped! But next time I will also try the cold compress..thanks!

    Its funny I was thinking on Sunday when I saw you guys how I havent had any Lupron headaches and then BAM! Tuesday comes and I have been getting one daily! Ugh, the joys of IF

    Oh that stinks.  I certainly feel your pain with headaches.  Oddly enough I didn't really get headaches on Lupron it almost made them stop.  As I think I mentioned to you, I always suffer from headaches almost every day.  It is the migraines that really bring me down.  Let's hope this is the last Lupron headache for you and it will all be worth it :)
