underwear question (xp)

Before I got pregnant, I was in this awkward, "7's are too small, 8's are too big" dilemma with underwear.  Now, just over halfway done with my pregnancy, I NEED new underwear (bigger size).  I typically wear a bikini style, and that's what I want to stay with (they're comfy, just not big enough to cover everything they need to cover, kwim?).  Here's the question: should I buy just one size up (size 8)?  Or maybe a 9?  Or should I go even bigger so I have some room to "grow"?  Or should I just buy one pack of 9's and see how long they last?

I hate buying new underwear.

    I hate it, too. I'd go for the 8's...at least that's my plan.

    I'm in the exact same boat, same size and everything. My 7's have become uncomfortable where they fall on my little, protruding bump and I'm hoping once it's bigger, they might not be so bad. That said, I'm considering maternity underwear Indifferent I'm sure they'll look huge but my mat pants that go over my belly are so comfy that I'm thinking underwear that does the same might be just as nice...I'm not sure yet though. I hadn't considered just getting a bigger size b/c I figured they'd be too big around the legs or in the butt or something and look strange all bunched up.

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Soma Intimates Vanishing Edge Panties...  they are bikini and they fit small, medium, large...  and seriously, the best panties I have ever bought.  :)

     

    Oh and they fit below the bump

    I honestly thought that maternity underwear was a really dumb thing.. that you could just go a size up.. but I bought some because they were on sale at Motherhood.. and Im so freaking glad that I bought them! I love the bikini style ones and theres no reason they cant be work later too! Buy some! You will be much more comfy!

    I just bought bikini cut a size or two up and they work just fine!
