I'm playing around with BLW, so I'm not too educated on it yet. I found rice cakes with no salt. Is this okay to give DD? Is it safe? Should I break them up into tiny pieces first?
I haven't tried them with DS yet but my copy of the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by LLL says that they are a simple grain starter food. I bet they'd be good with some hummus or a nut butter spread on them to liven them up.
They have small salt free ones here. They are a little bigger than quater size. The package says 8+ months. The packaging is usally conservative if you BLW in my opinion. We have been giving them to DS since then. We just give them plain as a snack. He loves them. They are one thing we never had gaging with ever that I can remember.
