Adrian bit a newborn on the head today!!

OMG, I was mortified. We went to a playgroup this morning at my friend's house and she had a friend with a 2 month-old very tiny newborn. But she put the baby down on the carpet most of the morning, with FOUR toddlers running around, I mean who does that? I kept looking over at Adrian to make sure he wouldn't slap the baby or poke her eye (his favorite thing to do to other kids). But we were all distracted at one point and it looks like he bit her head, maybe he thought it was a ball? He does that to balls now that his molars are coming in. He didn't break skin but the poor baby cried for a while. I felt bad but I mean, come on, you leave your newborn on the floor like that? Put her in her car seat on a table or something!
Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    It is amazing the baby didn't get stepped on or hit with a hard toy.

    Kids will be kids...I wouldn't worry about it. Baby should not been left on the floor.

    I don't even like to take my 4 month old into the preschool 1 room at daycare because they all swarm her, want to "rock" the carrier and pet her. That was a stupid mom.

    I have to admit that the title of that post made me snarf Mother's Milk tea through my nose.  Bad me.

    Kids will be kids, and a newborn on the floor with toddlers around is not a good idea.  Take a breath, and move on :)

    I wouldn never put Erin on the floor when Jason is in the same room, and Jason is 3.5 y.o. Jason is very fast and you never know what's on his mind.

    Gah, nooo!  The baby shouldn't have been on the floor!  I am remembering someplace I saw a picture of a baby biting another baby's head.  I wish I remember where I saw it, it was pretty funny (no one was hurt.)
