Daycare in Troy/Sterling Heights

Hi all. I may be taking a part time position that is very flexible, mostly work from home. Does anyone know of any daycare centers that operate on a drop-in or part-time basis? Nanny, sitter or in-home provider recommendations? I know there are periodic posts about daycare centers but I haven't seen any recently in the Troy/Sterling Heights  area. TIA!!

  • I know, I know. But this is like the perfect job. It's killing me to do this, but I really can't pass up the opportunity.

I will check those out and we'll see. I was hoping to find the perfect Mary Poppins nanny for $10/hour, but I think I will probably not find that. :(

ETA: No, I won't be there tomorrow...I am having lunch with a friend to talk about how in the he** I'm going to leave B.

When would you start? and how many hours do you think you might need? I'd hate to see you leave him, maybe he can come stay with me? I'd have to pass it by Cole first...and baby proof the house.

  • I use to take DS to Childtime in Troy (Long Lake and Livernois), I also did some summer work there for the school agers when I was on summer vaca. Troy is on the higher end of cost though. I think drop in is $50 for full day,  but if you set up a schedule, it may be cheaper. You can do any amount of days that you want and the price is dependant on the schedule.
