I'm exhausted. Since he was sick the week after Christmas L has been waking up screaming every two hours. He wants a bottle with milk then goes back to sleep, nothing else will comfort him and he doesn't want anything else (including me!) Please tell me this is a common regression that goes away super quick?
Re: Waking every two hours
We are having the same fun...but jack has a cold + teething. I have been trying like the devil to avoid giving him a bottle each time I don't want to get into a bad habit. But the last 2 nights have been EXHAUSTING!
No real words of wisdom except to say you are not alone!!
This. But it seems to be lasting forever. LO turns 12 mos this week, she's getting two upper teeth and has a cold. She has NEVER been a sleeper, so I'm going on 1 year of about 4 hours of sleep per night and not in a row, either. I sometimes sleep in my car at lunchtime, isn't that awful?
It took me a while when C was really little, but he loves to be snuggly warm in a blanket when he sleeps. I know the pediatricians rant about blankets in the crib, but once he was warmer, he slept much better.
Echo... your 4 month old is probably just going through the "4 month wakeful" period. That passes pretty quickly.
GL everybody.
I sure hope you are right. I'm dying here.
And I agree with them being warmer and sleeping better.
