Sorry for the delay...18 inches of snow today caused a little kink in my typical schedule.
Hooray! Day 3 and I managed to get the first set of push ups done! I practically started to cry. The second set was another story but I have seen a glimpse of improvement. The calves are still a bit sore but I am really motivated to continue. From all the check ins, it sound like everyone is doing a terrific job sticking with it! Is anyone on Level 2 yet? I am beginning to wonder how difficult will be.
Keep it up, group!
Re: Wednesday Shredding Check In
I saw the shredding group post yesterday and just had to join in so I had SO run out to get me the Shred Kit yesterday. I started last night and will do my second day later on tonight. I was surprised how sore my arms were today! My legs and abs still feel ok, but my arms are killing me! For 20 minutes, it was WAY tougher than I thought it would be.
Is there a set way to do these? Like 10 days on each level? Or do we move forward when we feel comfortable?
I am on Level 2 day 5. I am doing 10 days each level. Level two is a lot harder on the arms. Lots of planks, arm strength training and double jump ropes. I am enjoying Level 2 much more than last time I did the shred. Not sure why.
I am 1/2 way tonight!!!
I'm about to do Day 3 of level one. I don't think there are a set number of days to do each level...someone yesterday said she likes to go back and forth between levels 1-2 depending on how she feels each day, which sounds like a good idea to me--I'd rather not get bored with L1 or have L2 feel too challenging and then quit, so that kind of flexibility might be what keeps me going! Off to start before the couch sucks me in....
ETA: I did level 2 today and OMG. I'd say there were about 4-5 times during the 20 minutes where I was like, "Okay, you go ahead and do that, Jillian, and I'll be right here doing jumping jacks until you're done!" I'm going back to level 1 tomorrow, that's for sure!

Ideas on Teaching Your Toddler/Preschooler at Home
I just finished my tenth day on level 1. I am hoping to try level 2 tomorrow but I'm a little worried. Level 1 is tough but it doesn't kick my a$$ anymore... not sure I am ready to go back to that!
But, we shall persevere
It's all worth it!
Level 1, day 2 for me. Easier than yesterday, but the push ups still got me. But I got through one full set! ok, maybe I wasn't going down as far as I should have been, but still!
When I did the Shred last time, I did level 1 for one week and then moved to level 2. But wow, is level 2 harder than level 1. I made it through 5 days of level 2 before I had to take a break. It was too hard on my knees. So then I did alternated level 1 and 2 for another week before moving onto level 3. And i thought level 3 was easier than level 2 (but still challenging).
Good work ladies! Keep it up!
