LO's Position, anyone else?

LO seems to enjoy hanging out on the right side of my belly only.  I hardly ever feel him, or him moving to the left of my belly button.  The bump is asymmetrical, (and kind of not cute at times).  He's currently rolling around essentially over my right hip. 

I can't help feel like he has to be super uncomfortable, since he's not using about 1/2 of the real estate available to him!! 

 

Anyone else? 

Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    Based on my u/s from Saturday, LO is head down with her spine curving towards my right side.  I can feel her butt up under my right boob (not that high) and her feet kicking right above my belly button.  I'm like you- I never feel her on the left side... stretch out, LO!!  And stop kicking and punching in the same places please!

    I was just thinking of what I want to talk to my dr about tomorrow and thins is one of the thngs. It seems like is all curled up on my right side and she might wiggle a little but I haven't been feeling hard kicks too much anymore. I wish my belly was tranparent sometimes so I could see exactly what is going on in there :)

    Before my u/s last week, I thought the same thing, I only ever felt LO moving on my right side.  U/s showed that her spine is along my left side, so her arms and legs are pushing away on the right.  Just in the last week I'll notice her pushing her butt up into my ribs on the left, but still most of the movement in on the right.

    I asked at my appt this morning and LO is sideways across my stomach, so I really only feel strong kicks on my right side (legs) and little pokes and punches down lower (arms and elbows?) My stomach usually looks lopsided too!  She said the baby's butt is right around my belly button.

    I usually only feel my lil man on the right side also... We have our 3D/4D u/s Friday, so I am hoping we can 'see' why!

    Lo perfers my right side too.  I wonder why all these babies like the right side?

    I actually asked my MW to check for me yesterday. He was laying sideways across my stomach which explains the kicks.

    Whenever I lay on my side, he kicks whichever side is down. It's annoying because DH can't reach around to feel him kick and if I move, he stops!

    LO has his head down already, according to my last visit on Monday, and the daily hiccups that I feel in my vagina.  He moves from the left to the right.  This week hs is more on my left side, but last he was kicking away on my right side.
