an odd (& maybe slightly dumb) question, sorry....
I want to start training for a 10k they have every year in my area for St. Patty's day. obviously we are not PG yet, but are actively TTC right now. I just don't want to start this & then have to quit once I get PG.
Will it be ok to still train & run the race if I do get PG in the midst of it?
Re: Can you run while PG?
a marathon at 28 weeks?!? wow!! good for her!! My OB said my heart rate couldn't be above 140, which I hit pretty easily so I had to cut back on my running and spin classes.
Here's a post I happen to see the other day on H&F that might help. It includes some links and blogs, etc.
Sorry that it's not clicky!

Within reason, yes.
As mentioned above, the key is to keep hydrated, not elevate your heart rate too much, or overheat and to NOT start any increase once pregnant.
Most of the people I know who run through their pregnancy scale back or at least slow their pace at some point and stop toward the back half of their third tri. GL! I have always wanted to run during pregnancy but I was not able to..
