Trouble TTC

New RE = New plan

Hi girls,

So I had my mid-cycle with my RE yesterday to see if my second cycle of Femara had any effects.  That would be a big fat NO.  I'm still only getting a mature follicle on my right side.  You all my remember me complaining of my RE's horrible bedside manner.  Also a cycle of FSH through his office would be almost $900 with our insurance coverage because they do like 8 lab draws, 4 ultrasounds and 4 "office visits".  I decided yesterday to try to get in with the other RE in town who has better stats with his fertility success rates.  I was able to get an appointment today. I love the doctor.  He is friendly and knowledgable and willing to try some clomid with some natural estrogen before we move onto FSH.  He's also scheduled me for a HSG (finally) so we can see exactly what we're working with.  The best part is that he doesn't require quite so much monitoring and labwork as my old RE's office did during an FSH cycle, plus he is planning to code my billing with the UU code to cover my HSG, my office visit today and all my monitoring ultrasounds up until our FSH cycle.  Its going to save us SO much money.  I'm hoping he's the answer to our prayers.
