It was granulation tissue surrounding DS g-tube. The surgeon said he had never seen that much though. We are treating it with silver nitrate and then moving on to the steroid cream. Thank you ladies for all of your help and wisdom once again!

Glad you got your answer and some treatment. "Dry and Tight" is my surgeon's motto to keep gran. tissue at bay (keep the area try and make sure the button doesn't move around too much as that will irritate the stoma and cause gtissue to start to grow).
