Spotting after sex

Last night DH and I had sex and afterwards I had a little spotting. It didn't last long at all and wasn't heavy. I know it can be normal after sex to have spotting but I didn't have it at all with DD and this is the first time it has happened so I was a little concerned. I have my anatomy scan and OB appointment tomorrow. Do I call the dr. today or do I just mention it to him tomorrow?

If it stopped, I'd just wait and mention it at your appointment, and just say you were curious, as it didn't happen w/ your previous pregnancy. If you're still having spotting, I'd call and/or go in as soon as possible. (Especially if you're cramping along with it.)

Thanks. Spotting stopped and no cramping I just wasn't sure if I needed to call today or if it could wait.

This has happened to many of the girls here, including me. One day DH and I got pretty rough and there was light spotting after. I figured since it was light, not accompanied by cramping or even moderate blood, it was ok. And several weeks later at the doc, the heartbeat was stilll great and everything is looking good.
