Elimination Diet

Need help from women who have done the Elimination Diet for their LO's, especially those who EBF or EP, Will I take in enough calories? Are their any good recipes for the first two weeks which seem so selective? Can I use mustard, salt, pepper, butter, etc? What can I have besides just thoose 5 or 6 main foods?

  • Do you have any idea what it is that your LO has an intolerance to?  Like, DS has a dairy intolerance/allergy, so I've cut out all dairy - cheese, milk, butter, etc.

    If you have an idea as to what it is that bothers your LO, we can give you a better idea.  And, you could RP this on the BF'ing board for more help!!

  • I had to cut out all dairy and actually had a hard time keeping weight on (ie. eating enough calories) because cheese, milk, etc. made up a lot of my diet.  Is there a nutritionist that your dr. can refer you to for help?  In retrospect, this is what I should have done.
