DH and I visited BRU a few weeks ago and left thoroughly overwhelmed, we were just browsing at that point. Last weekend we really started to shop and make decisions about things. There is still a lot to do and decide but we plan to just keep chipping away at it little by little.

Me - DX Hashimoto's Disease, Hypothyroid, Rheumatoid Arthritis
DH - DX Azoospermia - Sertoli Cell Syndrome
DS-IUI #1-4 BFN
IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!
I bought the baby bargains book right after I was KU. I went through and highlighted a couple options for each of the big ticket items. Then I let a friend use it and haven't gotten it back yet but I'm in no rush.
I do buy small things if they are on sale though. I figure I'll wait to buy anything big till around May and I'm due in July.

I think around 11 weeks or so. I'm a HUGE planner and need to be ready for things way in advance
I am a HUGE planner too. I am kind of hoping to have options picked out so that when we find out the gender we can register soon after. I just worry about finding time for all the research but im sure the ladies further along on here have great suggestions!

I think it makes me nervous so we haven't been rushing with it. The baby bargains book was a HUGE help!

Good question! I love looking at the links that others post about baby stuff on here, but I'm still too nervous to actively look for myself. Maybe after 1st tri...
I just started looking the last week or two (mostly online)...
Edit: I don't planning on buying anything for a while longer though!!

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
Online? During my first IVF cycle. In store? Shortly after my first u/s, so it felt more "real."
Ditto! I am planning to go register next weekend or the weekend after. We are flying to Seattle to visit my family in February and some of my family wants to be able to buy things online and have them shipped to us.

Living After Losing
We just made our first purchase last night - crib, mattress, changing table, and dresser. To be honest, I wanted to wait a while longer, but my MIL offered to buy them for us. JCP is having a sale on the set we wanted, and we were also able to get free shipping to the store. We saved about $500. I think we'll still wait a while longer to put everything together once we pick it up, but I'm hoping having this stuff in the house will help get me more comfortable with purchasing things.
I pretty much could have done my nursery as soon as I got my BFP.
Then m/s struck and I have had no desire to look at anything baby related. I just tried to get through the day so that I could go back to bed. I was in survival mode.
Now I am ready to look at baby stuff again, but my mom is currently in the room that will be the nursery. She should be out in the next couple of months. Until then, everything is on hold.
