RE recommendations detroit area

I havent been to a RE yet but my friend used one in Brighton. She had a successful IVF there and really recommends them. I cannot remember their name but it is a lady. Im sure if you google it you will be able to find her. Ive also heard good things about Uof M.

yeah my obgyn just recommended one thats close to her office, but said I could go anywhere....so I wanted to see if anyone had any recs.

try calling the office of some RE's. For me the biggest issue is the fact that they NEVER answer the phone, always the machine and they say on the machine....we will return your call within 24-48 hrs....really. In my opinion, that is too long. Possibly ask questions of time frames for proceedures. Like: if i require a laparoscopy how long is the wait.

Michigan Comprehensive Fertility Center. There are 3 locations: Clinton Twp, Dearborn and Novi. There's a few of us from this board who go/have gone there. (UMichGirl, mbitel, OceanBreeze and I for sure)

I see Dr. Gary Jones who is part of the michigan comphrensive fertility center. their main office is in dearborn, mi but he personally practices in novi and clinton township/sterling heights (i can't remember which one). i've had a good experience with him so far and his staff. i have had to call the nurse 2 - 3 times and she has always called me back within the hour.

I started out going to RMA in Troy. While I did really like the doctors there, we ended up switching essentially because I felt like there was miscommunication between the doctors and nurses (and then of course me) more often than not. We really like Dr. Jones so far at CFC.

Now that we're looking into IVF though, RMA's success rates on the SART website overall seem to be higher than CFC's so that's something we're looking at too. Not sure what we're going to do yet but that's also something you can do to research RE's (www.sart.org)

I go to RMA and I love them....so far anyway. I have only had baseline testing done and I will be starting clomid/iui next cycle : ) Dr Wolfe was amazing. She was so kind, I can not say enough about her. Good Luck!
