Hi ladies,
Let me first say that I have been a secret cheerleader of you all for quite a few months. I hope that 2011 brings us all what we are waiting for.
I will try to make this short. I just started CD1 of cycle 14 today. My doctor wants me to try clomid with ovidrel injection this cycle. She will monitor the day I get a positive OPK, if this falls on a weekend, then she will have me come in on Monday. Is this a proper monitoring technique? Also, if I use clomid now, does that mean I wont be able to use it with any future IUI's later? I do chart and I do ovulate regularly, will clomid mess with my natural ovulation?
I also have a 2 cm fibroid and polyp in my uterus. My doctor doesn't seem to think this is causing me any problems with my fertility. I have to wonder if having these removed would increase my chances of getting pregnant. Other than that, my HSG, bloodwork and my husband'd SA came back all clear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have just been seeing an OBGYN. She did say she would refer me to an RE if I was ready for that next step and I have been going back and forth with the decision to crossover. I'm sure our next step is IUI anyways, so I could get a head start at the RE. Thanks for the advice, I may just get a second opinion.
Welcome!
I think you should see an RE for a second opinion, most of what it seems is that OBGYN don't usually monitor well enough. My RE is open 7 days a weelk for monitoring.
Welcome! Definitely come out and play with us
I don't have any advice about clomid, but I agree with pps, I'd go straight to an RE to get some answers, it sounds like this might be beyond your OB's expertise. Good luck to you!
