I'm sorry for asking another &*%$ Clomid/Femara question. I am just trying to go into my next RE appointment armed with info and an idea of what I'd like to do.
For those who have taken Clomid/Femara for a TI cycle - have you ever triggered with TI, or just IUI? If you have more than one follie that is mature and you don't tigger, is it possible that only one egg will be released?
Also, what is the benefit of doing a half Femara, half inject cycle? Is it mainly for cost or is there another reason?
Thanks for your wisdom ladies!

Re: Newb Clomid/Femara and triggering question - sorry guys
Thank you, your answer does help! I was just wondering if what my option was re: triggering on a TI cycle. I am worried that if I don't trigger, I will only release one egg and the other follie will become a cyst.
May I ask what s/e you had from the trigger (and what did you use?). If there is a s/e, I get it, so I'm worried about that too

I don't know exactly the brand name of the shot (I get it in the office at my CD12 scan and our EOB just says hCG Shot) but I had the shiits for 2 full weeks after the shot and I'm pretty positive that was what was causing it. The first day my FRER brand tests were completely negative was the day I had normal poo. Sorry, TMI. It just messed with my tummy, but I never felt bad. It's funny, the first few weeks I knew that I was pg with my son- I had the shiits every morning. I guess instead of m/s I had the shiits. I had a lot of nausea in the evenings, but the poos in the morning, maybe that's what it was, I dunno. I wouldn't shy away from it b/c of my SE, I've never heard of anyone else having that issue. AND I'm a POASoholic, so not being able to get a - test pissed me off.
Lol...your reply made me laugh.
I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome so the shiits are a normal, every day occurrence for me, unfortunately. I don't know whether to be worried that the trigger shot would make it worse, or if I should not even care because really, what's a few more trips to the bathroom? My old friend John would probably enjoy the additional company
