Random Stripper Question

What happens when a stripper gets pregnant?  They can't discriminate against her because she's pregnant, can they?

    I don't think she can be fired because she's pregnant, but because most of her income is based on tips I would assume those would suffer and she would probably want to find something else to do anyway.

    pregnant girls wear bikini's in the summer so I don't think that there would be much of a difference if a stripper was pregnant esp. if it was just a topless place.

    We were in Amsterdam a month ago in the red light district.  Becuase you have to go if you are there just to check it out.  Anyways there was a pregnant woman in one of the windows who was looking for some business. I guess there is a fetish for everyone.

    omg.. the visions are hilarious. I would think it would be a huge turn off the the kind of guys that frequent strip clubs.. like guys don't like to be reminded that sex=pregnancy. but yeah to answer your question, i don't think she can be fired but i'm sure they can ask her to resign early.

    We studied a case in school where a Hooters girl sued because of pregnancy discrimination. Hooters now offers a line of maternity outfits for such occasions. :)

    On the stripper note, the EEOC draws a line during the hiring process between whether the person is in charge of serving food or putting on a show. If they are serving food, the EEOC says you can't discriminate based on "pre-existing medical conditions" during the hiring process.

    I'm not sure about what their options would be if they got pregnant after being hired as a stripper. I'm assuming the place could give them paid medical leave or try to say that they are not physically able to do their job (like when a job requires heavy lifting). I think legally, if they are fit enough to do their job, they are entitled to continue stripping.

    I don't understand how this fits. What do pregnant girls in bikini's have to do with pregnant strippers?

    I'm lurking here from 1st tri, but I had to put in my two cents.  Pregnant strippers make more than a lot of non-pregnant ones.  They usually dance until 5 or 7 months.   There are a lot of men who prefer pregnant women.  Blacklights are really good at hiding stretch marks.
