Anyone have a preference of one over the other? They both look great and seem to have gotten great reviews, but I'm not sure which one I should put on the registry...? We're sending out our registry details soon and this is the last item I need to add to our list.
Thanks ladies!!
Re: Moby Wrap vs. Baby Bjorn
Moby - and I strongly recommend against the bjorn (there are better options if you want something with buckles).
Here's my post on newborn carriers: https://www.becomingmamas.com/becoming-mamas-top-picks-for-newborn-carriers/
and this is why the bjorn isn't great: https://www.becomingmamas.com/why-you-should-avoid-crotch-dangler-baby-carriers/

I didnt like the Bjorn, my neice has the Moby wrap and she loves it. I didnt like it because I didnt think it would be good for DH, the Ergo seems best suited to fit my DHs body buildt.
I had both but never used the Bjorn since it just wasn't nearly as comfortable for us. I loved the Moby and also used Mei Tai carriers when DS was smaller. As he got older I bought an Ergo and could carry him well after he was 2 years old.
Personally I would skip the Bjorn altogether.

The Bjorn is such a back killer. Once your baby reaches 15 lbs, you won't want to wear it.
The Moby is GREAT for newborns - and on to 9 months, the Ergo is fab for 6 mos to 2 years of so.

I love my Ergo, but will be using a Baby K'Tan for the early months. A friend recently bought one and LOVES it. It is very similar to the Moby and other wraps, but you don't have a long piece of fabric you have to wrap and re-wrap each use. I have the Ultimate Baby Wrap from DS and won't be using it this time.
Here is a link.
Yep, I registered for the Baby K'Tan and the Ergo.

We received a Baby Bjorn from a friend (she used it but is done having babies now) and registered for the Moby. I like the Moby better, but DH likes the Bjorn. Per the info in this thread, we might add an Ergo to the registry for him. Or just wait and see and buy one ourselves if need be.
