Nursery colors ?

Trying to decide on colors 10 weeks5days and we will not be finding out what  we are having we just know there are 2.

 In thinking of nursery stuff - what colors 

we like red black and white - skulls would be cool too but I am not sure ( we are a lil macabe)

we like owl's but i feel like the color combos are either Girl or boy and cant think of one that is neutral. Like orange and turquoise and brown says boy to me ..Wife thinks it fine ... Orange Pink and brown I think it girlie ... 

I like Mint and Brown  ( our wedding colors ) 

then we like primary ... but seems very boy to me !

    Have you thought about gray and pale yellow?

    Gray goes with everything- looks great with red too and is neutral (im thinking a light gray) & gray is "in" right now- well Nate Berkus says so anyway Wink

    We have greens, yellows, and tans for our girls.

    I have B/G twins and my nursery is beachy.  Walls are a yellowish color (SW Paper Lantern), cribs are antique white and bedding is PB Pique Scallop bedding - white with pale green for baby boy and white with pale pink for baby girl.  There are lots of yellows, greens and pinks in the room.

    We're doing orange for the nursery, with some greens and blues and browns thrown in.

    There's a big wall decal of trees with owls on Etsy that I'm considering for our nursery. Most of the wall decal makers on Etsy let you customize colors, so you could pick a color combo you like. If you go with the skulls, I've seen some fabric at fabric.com of Mexican flashcards (I can't remember their name, but they have simple images as well as Day of the Dead imagery) that could bridge the skulls/babies gap.

    There's no wrong answer - you might want to look for something you both love (a picture, bedding, toy, anything) and use it for inspiration for colors. Don't just look at baby stores for this -- look at places that fit your tastes, so you find something more unique. It's easier than trying to start from scratch.

    All great Ideas .. seriously .. Love the gray and yellow .. but still not sure.  Love orange I love them all ...
