Oh my....this makes me very nervous. Well the only experience i have with meds is that they send u way more then u need. Its like a months supply of each one when you may only need a weeks worth. I sure hope that is the case!
Don't worry too much and good luck!!!!

Thanks, ladies. I think what is making me nervous is that we've only talked about like 1/3 of the medicines. The nurses keep saying they don't want to overwhelm me, but I find it alarming when a huge amount of drugs land on my doorstep and I don't know what they're for.

Yikes! That is a lot of meds! That makes me nervous - and I am not sure if I am more nervous about the pain from injecting all of that, or the pricetag.
Where did you order from?
Good luck to you!
After 18 months TTC, our 2nd IUI brought us our BFP!
Stick baby stick!
It's so, so overwhelming. When I got my big box o'drugs, I lined them all up next to my laptop, and looked up the how-to-use video for each one on youtube. I didn't hesitate for one second to call the nurse if I had a question.
If it makes you feel better, you probably won't use all the needles! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help!

Hey Glow!! Getting the big box (or in my case multiple boxes) is the most overwhelming part. They actually break it down for you and you don't have to use every med every day. So, just take it one day at a time. I set out the meds I would need each day. It is a lot less overwhelming that way!
Wishing nothing but the best for you! Good luck!!

Thanks for the support, ladies! You all are the best. I really mean it.
I think Mr. Glow is FINALLY starting to realize why I was so reluctant about doing IVF now that he has a visual of the cocktail of all the meds, and he's none to thrilled about giving me the PIO shot. (he HATES needles and blood and such).
Brockstar, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield IL. If I have unused meds at the end which I don't need, I'll definite donate back to ya'll.

Thanks, Magnolia. You're so sweet
Adaisy, it came from Village Pharmacy. My insurance pays for most of the medicine, so the sticket shock wasn't horrific.
Holy Moly is right!!! Guess that is what I get to look forward too here soon as well.
Good Luck on your IVF cycle!!!!
Wow!!! I am getting my meds on Friday - that makes me nervous!! I think I will freak when I see all the needles!!!
